5 Days gorilla Trekking Uganda safari coupled with wildlife viewing in Queen Elizabeth national park. This tour takes you to Bwindi visit gorillas in Uganda and passing via the Ishasha sector to view the amazing tree climbing lions of Queen Elizabeth and later headout for a game drive and boat ride along the Kazinga channel where you will view Thousands of hippos along the Lake shores

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Uganda safari stats from Kampala to Bwindi national park. Early morning our company guide will pick you from your hotel and transfer you to the northern sector of Bwindi national park for gorilla tracking. Arrive early enough in either Ruhija or Buhoma in preparation for gorilla trekking the next morning. This evening, you will have a community walk to the Pygmies (Batwa) and learn first hand about their lives. Stay an overnight at Gorilla Forest Camp or Mahogany Springs/ Buhoma community campsite.

Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi
After breakfast and briefing by park ranger guides, make sure to have a picnic lunch box packed to start your gorilla trek to find the Mountain gorillas as you hike up and down slippery slopes with dense mist covered vegetation. This strenuous quest will eventually bring you to the face of one of the most sought after creatures-the mountain gorilla . After a full hour with them while observing and learning their behavior as you take photos, return to the Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
After breakfast drive via Ishasha – the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth national park in quest for the rare tree climbing lions whilst not avoiding sights of antelopes like kobs, gazelles, and bush bucks among others. Arrive for lunch at Mweya lodge and at in the afternoon a boat will be ready to set off for a 2 hours boat cruise along the Kazinga channel connecting lakes George and Edward which will reward you with close range views of crocodiles, hippos, buffalos, elephants and a variety of birds like pelicans, African skimmer, African fish eagle and the shoe bill if lucky. Overnight stay at Enganzi lodge or kyambura game lodge.

Day 4: Game drive & Chimpanzee tracking and Transfer to Kampala
This morning you will have an early morning game drive following the Kasenyi trail in search for lions and other predators as well as a variety of game including topis, giraffes, kobs, warthogs, buffalos among the park’s 100 mammal species. Later, before noon, after your luch head out for chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura gorge.Dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Transfer to Kigali / Entebbe and Departure
After an early breakfast, you will begin your journey back to Entebbe airport passing via the Equator as you take photos and witness the experiments en route to Kampala. You will arrive in Entebbe in the afternoon for flight back home.
